The Problem:
Routine Oil & Gas Flaring
-
Widespread Flaring Pollutes the Environment
Hundreds of thousands of U.S. oil and gas wells are flaring off massive amounts of natural gas, heavily polluting the environment. Poorly maintained or unlit flares emit large volumes of contaminants like particulate matter, nitrogen oxides, and volatile organic compounds. The flared gas often contains toxic substances linked to health issues.
-
Flared Gas Wastes Resources and Worsens Climate Change
Flared wellhead gases are polluting the environment and wasting valuable natural resources. Methane, the main component of natural gas, is an extremely potent greenhouse gas that traps 82 times more heat than CO2. Uncontrolled methane emissions from inefficient or unlit flares are a top priority for elimination by the World Bank and other organizations fighting climate change.
-
Flaring Prioritized Over Pipeline Infrastructure
A multitude of oil and gas wells, particularly in remote locations, make gas pipeline construction financially unfeasible. This leads to the polluting practice of flaring off these natural resources instead of capturing and utilizing the gas productively. Flaring wastes this valuable energy source and contributes to the growing environmental and climate crisis.
Flared wellhead gases are polluting the environment and wasting natural resources:
Hundreds of thousands of U.S. Flared Gas Wells heavily contaminate the environment
Poorly maintained / unlit flares produce large amounts of highly polluting contaminants.
Such Off-Gas leaked compositions contain lethal materials such as Hydrogen Sulfide, Benzene, etc. are connected to several health issues.
Multitude of Flare Gas in remote locations eliminate gas pipeline financial feasibility
Global gas flaring increased by 9 billion cubic meters in 2023, reaching 148 billion cubic meters, the highest level since 2019
The Global Flaring & Methane Reduction Partnership estimates that in 2023, flaring released 381 million tonnes of CO2e, with a significant portion in the form of unburnt methane. Even more disturbingly, on a 20-year basis where methane has a global warming potential up to 80 times greater than carbon dioxide increasing the emissions to 458 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent. The Global Gas Flaring Tracker Report also underscores the ongoing challenge of measuring methane from flaring. If flares are less efficient than assumed, the actual emissions could be higher than current estimates suggest.
This U.S. oil field is flaring off enough gas to power all of the homes in Chicago AND Washington D.C.
The Solution
Alpha Clean Energy is uniquely positioned to capture a significant market share with its powerful and versatile solution for capturing flared gas and methane emissions.
We have THE solution to the recognized World Bank initiative to end stranded GAS Flaring by 2030. Alpha Clean Energy technology “Cleans the Air” of harmful carcinogens / VOC’s & ends “Wasteful” Gas Flaring by using this waste gas as a lowest cost energy resource to fuel the ACE mobile Electric Power Generation System up to 2 MW's. This system is extremely scalable due to its portability, mobility, weight and overall footprint.
All the components of our system, which are proven and field tested, are now uniquely integrated to convert flare gas waste and methane emissions into Electric Power thus cleaning the environment of hazardous Volatile Organic Compounds and carcinogens that poison the air people breathe.
Please review the World Bank's plea to end this wasteful, serious polluting by 2030 as it’s happening all over the world.

Alpha Clean Energy follows a Long-Term Mindset that reduces pollution, conserves natural resources, mitigates costs and generates distributed electrical power by:
Reducing flare gas pollution to improve the health of people
Eliminates Volatile Organic Compounds, Unburned Hydrocarbons (UBHC) and H2S
UBHC’s are listed as pre-cancerous chemicals
Is an efficient, practical equipment package for beneficial waste recycling.
Diverse / Distributed Generation greatly reduces needs for new Power Transmission Lines, consistent with the ability to directly connect to existing electrical grids. By eliminating additional transmission requirements, wasteful, additional transmission electrical line losses are eliminated.
Alpha Clean Energy utilizes lowest cost Wellhead Flare Gas to Fuel Electric Power Generation:
Methane & Flare Reduction leads to clean energy production (by transitioning from polluting open combustion to efficient, clean burning closed combustion systems)
This clean, efficient environmental alternative to Flaring & Venting reduces the need for new pipelines.
Distributed Electrical Generation via Micro Grids, eliminate the need for new extensive, expensive, Transmission Lines.
Waste Flare Gas burned in closed, contained Gas Turbine Combustion Chambers eliminates UBHC, VOC’s, H2S, Soot, Smoke, and Odors.
